Cold Wave Grips Nation, Skardu Hits -11°C

Intense Cold Wave Persists Across the Country; Skardu Hits -11°C.

Web Desk: The cold wave continues to grip various cities across the country, with temperatures plummeting to record lows.

According to an international weather website, Skardu recorded a bone-chilling -11°C, while Ziarat experienced temperatures as low as -5°C.

In other areas, Qalat reported -4°C, and Quetta’s temperature dropped to -3°C. Meanwhile, Islamabad and Peshawar recorded relatively milder temperatures of 6°C, Lahore 9°C, and Karachi 11°C.

The Meteorological Department has predicted light rainfall in select areas, including Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, northeastern Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Galiyat, and surrounding regions.
