Sindh Government Spokesperson Mustafa Abdullah Baloch Applauds NICH’s Outstanding Healthcare Services
Karachi Web Desk: Sindh Government Spokesperson Mustafa Abdullah Baloch has commended the National Institute of Child Health (NICH) for its exceptional healthcare services. During his visit to the renowned institution, Baloch lauded its role as a leading medical facility, noting its unique status in Asia.
Accompanied by Executive Director Professor Nasir Siddiqui, Baloch toured various departments, interacted with patients and their families, and expressed satisfaction with the hospital’s state-of-the-art facilities.
Highlighting the hospital’s milestones, he revealed that NICH offers free treatment for children battling thalassemia and other blood disorders. Additionally, the facility provides care to over 15,000 registered pediatric cancer patients.
In a remarkable achievement, NICH has successfully performed one of only 150 conjoined twin surgeries completed worldwide—a testament to its advanced medical expertise.
Baloch praised the dedication of the NICH team and emphasized the Sindh government’s commitment to supporting institutions that deliver top-notch healthcare to the community.
