Pakistan, UAE sign 5 five accords of cooperation on Abu Dhabi crown prince’s first official visit

Islamabad Web Desk: Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has arrived in Pakistan on an official visit. The distinguished guest was warmly received at Noor Khan Airbase by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President Asif Ali Zardari, and First Lady Aseefa Bhutto.

Upon his arrival, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was accorded a grand welcome at the Prime Minister’s House, where a Guard of Honor was presented in his honor. Accompanying him on this significant visit is a high-level delegation from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

During the visit, Pakistan and the UAE signed multiple agreements aimed at strengthening bilateral relations across various sectors. A special ceremony at the Prime Minister’s House marked the exchange of key Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and agreements between the two nations.

One of the major agreements focused on enhancing cooperation in the banking sector, fostering financial ties between Pakistan and the UAE. Additionally, a groundbreaking pact was signed to promote collaboration in the mining industry, signaling a new era of resource development between the two nations.

In a further boost to infrastructure and connectivity, Pakistan and the UAE exchanged two MoUs in the railway sector, highlighting their shared vision for improved transportation and logistics. Another crucial agreement was made regarding investment in Pakistan’s infrastructure sector, paving the way for economic growth and development.

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s visit underscores the deep-rooted ties between Pakistan and the UAE, reinforcing their commitment to mutual prosperity and strategic cooperation.
