PSX: Positive Trend Observed During the Business Week, Deals Worth Rs. 274 Billion Finalized
A positive trend was observed in the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) 100 Index during the business week.
On the last trading day of the week, the PSX 100 Index closed at 109,053 points, marking an increase of 7,696 points. Throughout the week, the index fluctuated within a band of 7,556 points.
The highest level reached by the 100 Index during the week was 109,478 points, while the lowest point was 101,921.
During the week, trading volumes amounted to 8.41 billion shares, with deals worth Rs. 274 billion finalized. Market capitalization increased by Rs. 970 billion, reaching a total of Rs. 13,855 billion by the end of the week.
