A case has been registered against the spokesperson of Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) parliamentary leader in the KMC, Karamullah Waqasi, for allegedly firing at a businessman.
According to Private channel, the case was lodged at the Tipu Sultan Police Station based on a complaint by businessman Faraz Khan. In his statement, the complainant accused Karamullah and his associates of firing at him.
Faraz further alleged that the spokesperson, along with his accomplices, had collected a sum of Rs. 987 million for sanitation services. When he demanded a refund of the amount, they threatened him with dire consequences, including death.
The Tipu Sultan Police Station has filed the case and initiated an investigation into the matter. Reports reveal that the complainant, Faraz Khan, is a prominent businessman from Burns Road and owns two restaurants on the famous Food Street.
This incident has raised concerns within the local business community, with calls for a transparent inquiry to ensure justice is served.
