The 8th Consumers Road Safety Conference 2025 was held at the DHA Marina Club, DHA Phase 8,
Karachi Web Desk. The event was part of the Road Safety Hero Award series.The conference saw the participation of key figures, including Mr. Sharjeel Inam Memon, Provincial Minister for Transport Sindh, and Mr. Ahmad Nawaz, DIG Traffic Karachi, among others.
The main objective of the program was to raise awareness among drivers about traffic rules and to address the increasing accidents in the city. It aimed to foster a better understanding of road safety practices and ensure the maintenance of road discipline.
During his speech, DIG Traffic Mr. Ahmad Nawaz urged parents not to allow their underage children to drive, as young drivers are more prone to accidents.
The event concluded with the Consumer Association of Pakistan presenting honorary shields and certificates to Mr. Ahmad Nawaz, DIG Traffic Karachi, and the traffic police personnel for their dedicated service.
