KARACHI WEB DESK: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah attended the vibrant Cultural Day event at St. Patrick’s High School, Karachi. Upon his arrival, he was warmly welcomed by the school’s principal, Rev. Fr. Mario A. Rodrigues. The event was also graced by Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Shah and Deputy Speaker of the Sindh Assembly, Naveed Anthony.
The celebration showcased the rich cultural diversity of Pakistan, with students presenting captivating cultural tableaux representing the heritage of all four provinces. Murad Ali Shah emphasized Pakistan’s unique identity as a nation of diverse cultures. “Our heritage is not confined to Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, or Khyber Pakhtunkhwa—Pakistan is our collective heritage. A nation with distinct identities is a remarkable example of harmony,” he said.

The Chief Minister also extended gratitude to the faculty and staff for their efforts in nurturing cultural values. “Your dedication to education and your commitment to the youth are the pillars on which Pakistan’s future stands,” he remarked.

Reflecting on his student days, Murad Ali Shah recalled, “I am proud to have been a student of St. Patrick’s—a place known for its exceptional discipline. I vividly remember ensuring my hair was perfectly combed and my shirt buttons fastened to avoid penalties.”
He fondly reminisced about evenings spent with Christian friends in Saddar, a testimony to the spirit of inclusivity fostered by the school.
