Nawaz, Zardari, and Imran Can Resolve 70 Years of Issues in 70 Days if They Sit Together: Rana Sana
Web Desk: Rana Sanaullah, the Prime Minister’s Advisor on Political Affairs, has proposed talks among the leaders of major political parties. He suggested that if Nawaz Sharif, Asif Zardari, and Imran Khan sit together, they could resolve 70 years of issues within 70 days.
In a statement, he mentioned that both negotiation committees take instructions from these party leaders.
On the other hand, addressing an event, Khawaja Saad Rafique said that Pakistan’s crises stem from three types of remote-controlled democracy: one under military control, the second when politicians behave like monarchs, and the third when a few judges in chambers or homes decide who will go to jail and who will become the next ruler.
He added that it is unacceptable for politicians to bear the brunt of accountability while a former military chief enjoys playing golf after doing everything.
Speaker Ayaz Sadiq remarked that there are no restrictions on the opposition speaking in the National Assembly. He urged them to address public issues alongside their own concerns.
