According to the State Bank of Pakistan, remittances in the first half of the current fiscal year saw a remarkable 33% increase compared to the previous year. In December 2024 alone, overseas Pakistanis sent home $3.07 billion—a 29% rise compared to December 2023.

Year-on-year, December 2024 showed a 29.3% surge in remittances compared to December 2023.
