PPP Deliberately Undermined in Punjab: Punjab Governor Sardar Salim Haider Khan
Pakistan Web Desk: Punjab Governor Sardar Salim Haider Khan has claimed that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has been systematically weakened in Punjab through strategic planning.
While addressing a workers’ convention in Mandi Bahauddin, the governor pledged his full commitment to establishing a campus of the University of Gujrat in Phalia. He highlighted the importance of improving educational facilities in the region to empower the youth.
Expressing grief over the tragic deaths caused by a boat accident, Governor Salim Haider Khan condemned the illegal practices of human trafficking. He described the loss of young lives attempting to reach Europe through unsafe means as deeply saddening. He emphasized the need for strict action against human traffickers, urging that they be made an example. He also revealed that directives have been issued to the Director General of the FIA to intensify operations against human smuggling.
Governor Haider further assured that human traffickers would be apprehended and their operations dismantled. He announced plans to discuss this pressing issue with the Prime Minister to ensure decisive action.
Reiterating his earlier stance, the governor stressed that the weakening of the PPP in Punjab was a deliberate move carried out under a planned strategy.
