British Deputy High Commissioner Sarah Mooney Bids Farewell to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah
Karachi Web Desk: In a farewell meeting with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, British Deputy High Commissioner Sarah Mooney was commended for her contributions during her tenure.
The Chief Minister expressed his appreciation for Mooney’s efforts in strengthening Pakistan-UK relations. In turn, Mooney thanked the Chief Minister and the Sindh government for their support and cooperation throughout her assignment.
Chief Minister Shah noted that ties between Pakistan and the UK have grown stronger over time. Both parties agreed to further enhance bilateral relations, as confirmed by the Chief Minister’s spokesperson.
Mooney also praised the Sindh government’s hospitality and its collaborative approach to various initiatives. The Chief Minister lauded the UK’s involvement in developmental projects within the province.
The meeting included discussions on strengthening cooperation in education, healthcare, and development sectors between Pakistan and the UK.
As a token of goodwill, Chief Minister Shah presented the outgoing Deputy High Commissioner with traditional gifts, including a shield, Ajrak (a traditional Sindhi shawl), Khes, and a ceremonial sheet.
This farewell symbolized the continued commitment to fostering strong ties and mutual collaboration between the two nations.
