Global Event Scheduled for February 7-11, 56 Nations to Participate
Karachi, Web Desk: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah chaired a high-level meeting to review preparations for the upcoming Peace Exercise and Dialogue, set to take place from February 7 to 11, 2025.
The meeting, held at the Chief Minister House, was attended by Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab, Commander Karachi Vice Admiral Muhammad Faisal, Home Secretary, Inspector General of Police, Karachi Commissioner, and senior officials from Pakistan Navy, Rangers, and other relevant departments.
A Major International Event
Commander Karachi (COMKAR) Vice Admiral Muhammad Faisal provided a detailed briefing on the event, highlighting its significance. He confirmed that 56 countries, along with several naval chiefs, will participate in this global peace initiative.
Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah emphasized the strategic importance of the event for Karachi and Pakistan, stating, “This is a very important occasion, and we will ensure it is hosted with excellence.” He assured that the provincial government will extend a warm welcome to all distinguished guests.
Key Directives for Smooth Execution
To ensure seamless execution, CM Murad Ali Shah instructed Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab to make all necessary arrangements before the event. He specifically directed authorities to improve street lighting, upgrade the sewerage system, repair roads, and enhance sanitation efforts across the city.
Additionally, comprehensive security measures are being finalized. The CM directed the Inspector General of Police to coordinate with the Pakistan Navy to ensure foolproof security throughout the event.

Murad Ali Shah reiterated that the Peace Exercise and Dialogue is a national initiative and must be conducted in a grand and organized manner. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing top-tier facilities and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for international delegates.
