Sindh Minister for Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Meets Car Dealers Association Delegation
A delegation from the Car Dealers Association, led by its Chairman Muhammad Kamran Khan and including members such as Saleem Godil, met with Sindh Minister for Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control, Mukesh Kumar Chawla.
During the meeting, Minister Mukesh Kumar Chawla announced a two-month extension for the biometric verification process of old vehicles in response to the delegation’s demands.
He further stated that the online system for fees related to number plate changes would be launched soon. Additionally, vehicles will be promptly provided with number plates once the application process is completed.

Mukesh Kumar Chawla emphasized that the government is working to simplify the procedures for vehicle taxation, registration, and biometric verification to facilitate the public. He announced plans to establish additional facilitation centers across the province for these services.
“Our aim is to ensure that the initiatives of the Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department are public-friendly,” said Mukesh Kumar Chawla.
