Washington, D.C. Web Desk: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has emphasized the need to strengthen people-to-people connections between Pakistan and the United States.

Speaking to the media after attending the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, Bilawal highlighted the significance of the event, which brought together global leaders and dignitaries. He noted that former U.S. President Donald Trump was also present, making it a valuable opportunity for dialogue.

In his closing remarks at the event, Bilawal stressed the importance of fostering unity through religion rather than using it as a tool for division. “Faith should be a bridge that connects people, not a wall that separates them,” he stated.

The PPP chairman also described the National Prayer Breakfast as a powerful platform for interfaith harmony. During his visit, he met with several members of Congress but clarified that, since he no longer holds a ministerial position, all meetings were conducted in a personal capacity.

This engagement reflects Bilawal’s ongoing efforts to promote diplomatic and cultural ties beyond formal government roles, underscoring the importance of mutual understanding between nations.
