Government Never Promised Khan’s Release in 20 Days: Barrister Gohar Rejects Aleema’s Claim.

Pakistan Web Desik: Barrister Gohar, Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has dismissed claims made by Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, regarding negotiations with the government for his release.

Barrister Gohar was asked about Aleema Khan’s statement mentioning negotiations with the government. In response, he clarified, “I have had no contact with the government on or before November 24.

The PTI chairman further stated that no discussions had taken place with the government about meeting the party’s founder.

When questioned about Aleema Khan’s claim that he had provided a specific timeline for Imran Khan’s release, Barrister Gohar categorically denied it, saying, “I neither discussed nor mentioned anything about his release.”

He emphasized that the government never promised the release of the PTI founder within 20 days. “The claim that his release was tied to ending the protest is completely false,” he added.

It is worth noting that Aleema Khan, speaking to the media in Lahore, had stated that the government came under pressure after rallies reached a critical stage. She alleged that the government sent Barrister Gohar to meet Imran Khan in jail and assured his release within 20 days.
