Sindh Energy Conservation Building Code 2023 (ECBC-2023) – Paving the Way for a Sustainable Future

Karachi,Web Desk – In a major step towards sustainable urban development, Sindh’s Minister for Energy, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, officially launched the Energy Conservation Building Code 2023 (ECBC-2023). The initiative reflects Sindh’s commitment to energy efficiency and sustainable development, setting a new benchmark for the construction industry.

During the launch event, Minister Nasir Shah acknowledged the collective efforts of national stakeholders and reaffirmed the Sindh government’s dedication to environmental sustainability. This code is a crucial part of our broader strategy to enhance energy efficiency and achieve key sustainable development goals,” he stated.

The event, held in Karachi, was organized in collaboration with the National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (NEECA) and the Building Energy Research Center (BERC). It brought together policymakers, industry experts, and key stakeholders to discuss energy-efficient construction practices in Sindh.

A Milestone for Pakistan’s Energy and Climate Goals
